Uneventful trip to Texas
We are heading to Mesa, AZ to visit with his stepmother, Linda before we head over to Texas. With having the holidays off, we can make pretty good time since we were trying to make it in between snow storms. We stopped and saw Linda and Christy and her 2 kids and took Linda out for dinner and then the next morning, headed to the Dallas, TX area. We split the trip into 400 mile trips and drove straight through New Mexico, spending the night in Van Horn, TX. Such a small town... good thing that the KOA had a kitchen that was still open so we could get some dinner. Off to sleep and away we went the next day to Dallas.
